Cannot sign in to Xbox Err (0x409) 0x83750007

Hi all,

My windows recently updated from 10 Pro to the Anniversary edition on 3/9. Since 5/9, I'm having trouble signing in to the Xbox app...

We can't sign you in right now. Try again later.

(0x409) 0x83750007

None of my microsoft based games loads & only allows me to play as a guest. I've searched the web, & came upon numerous suggestions on how to resolve the problem:

- Uninstall Xbox app & reinstall

- Changed owership of PC

- Added new microsoft account

None of these seem to work however. I'm not a computer genie, so any "understable" help would be appreciated.

Try this.

Go to setting ->Time & Language -> Set both time and time zone to automatically.

Restart your PC if needed then try sign in to xbox app again.

Thanks for the reply, but to no avail. Have tried this but still stuck. Could it be the upgraded version of Win 10?

Had the same issue like you guys have, here's how i fixed it.

In addition to the xbox app not working my I also couldn't log in into my account in the store app.

When I tried to log in I just got a empty choose a account screen.

Don't know if it has anything to do with it but i fixed it as well.

With the help of this article I uninstalled the xbox and store app, i opened a powershell in administrator mode and enter the following commands:

Get-AppxPackage *windowsstore* | Remove-AppxPackage

Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage

After a restart (signing out and back in didn't work for me) I entered the following command (again in a powershell in admin):

Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

This will install any missing built-in apps you may have uninstalled.

This worked for me on both apps, I could now install new app via the store and the xbox app could now login.

I hope this fixes it for you as well.
