    Hello all,

    So for the past few weeks, I have not been able to sign in to my Xbox 360 account from my Xbox one.

    For example, when I go to play skate 3 or portal 2, I get to a screen asking either to sign in or to play without an account. (I am choosing to sign in.) When I do so, I am greeted with a screen giving me the available accounts to sign into. However, with
    the other three accounts on the same page, their profile pictures are filled in and are able to be chosen to sign in if I chose to. But, my account's profile picture is just a solid grey and is not able to be clicked on no matter how many re-boots I make or
    attempts I make. Every time I do, it tells me to sign in on Xbox one (Even though I am already signed in on Xbox one.) Once I do so, I am put back to the available accounts to sign in to page and nothing proceeds this. I am stuck in an infinite loop of trying
    to sign In forever with nothing following my efforts.

    Is there something I have to do that I am forgetting in order for this to be fixed?

    Having Two Types of Consoles at a Time

    You can be logged onto one profile on one Xbox 360 and one Xbox One at any one time. You cannot be signed into two Xbox 360s at once or two Xbox Ones at the same time, but one of each is perfectly fine.

    Backwards Compatibility

    This means you have a Child or Teen account. Those two accounts cannot purchase Xbox 360 content from an Xbox One or Xbox.com. You would need to have the parent account sign in and download the game for you (so long as the console is their home console).
    Or you can download it from an Xbox 360 and then find it in your Ready to Install section of your Xbox One.

    Regarding the question about signing on to 2 different consoles, it is possible. You can sign on to your Xbox 360 and the Xbox One at the same time. But just like before you cannot sign on to 2 Xbox Ones or 2 Xbox 360's at the same time.
