CANNOT SIGN IN A CHILD ACCOUNT

I don't know what Microsoft did with the family settings this past week, but I have had trouble with both child accounts logging in.

I was able to get one up and running the other day. Both are on my Microsoft family account, but I cannot get the one back on the Xbox family account.

I've never had trouble before setting up accounts, and done all the troubleshooting on the websites, searched the forums, logged in and out of the console, email authentications, etc.

Any ideas? It's spring break, so prime Xbox time for the 16 year old.

Forgot email to adult account

I need to change the restrictions on a child account but have forgotten my email to sign in into my adult account and cannot figure out how to get it back because the child account deleted my account off the xbox one

 

How can i remove the parental email account from my xbox account

you. Ned to goto account.microsoft.com then sign in with the parental account then remove the account frommthe family however you will need to readd a new parental account in order to sign into live again

For parental controls as child accounts cannot not have a parental accout

 

Hi there. When you attempt to assign the account do you receive any error messages and/or error codes? If so could you post them here. Have you tried a hard reset? You can do so by clicking left on the home screen and going down the options to the settings
cog. Once there click the option "Restart Console". Once the console has restarted try adding the account again.
