cannot send or receive party invites

My wife and I just bought two Xbox ones this weekend. For some reason neither of us can send or receive party invites. We can join each others parties without a problem. But....while we are playing a game the party chat turns itself off. This usually
happens about 6 times during an hour of play. Very annoying. We have to go into party and reenable it. We do not have any problems sending each other game invites within COD or messages. Both Xboxs show Open NAT. Doing some google searches for the past
few days I see a lot of people having chat issues with Xbox one.

I knew this wouldn't work but was willing to try anything. Someone said that they usually clear their alternate mac..... yep. Didn't work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cannot receive party or game invite/Send

I've tried to send party invites it doesn't work and when I get sent them it just doesn't show i not get a notification and it's not there or anything my Nat type is open so someone please help.

Even if your NAT Type is showing Open on the main Network settings page, you can sometimes still have a NAT issue.

1. Test your Multiplayer Connection
2. On the "It's All Good" screen, press both bumpers and triggers at the same time
   
3. Reply back with the Detailed Network Statistics that both consoles show

The "Detailed NAT Information" area will show a few dots while it is checking NAT. With this we at least will know 100% that NAT is actually open.

Yesterday I had also tried placing my wife's Xbox in the DMZ on our Cisco e1200. That didn't work either.

 

So I think it is working this morning......??

From what I can tell, the Party invite will not come through as a 'message' like the Xbox 360? Instead, we have to go into our friends list and scroll over to the far right to the screen that shows Parties. Then click the person that shows 'In the Party'
and choose join. Is that correct? Just wanted to make sure I am not supposed to get the traditional message in the inbox like the 360.

If that is the case then it is working for the moment. We had issues with this last night where on the same 'Parties' screen it would say it cannot connect to party info try again later or the invite wouldn't come through at all.

If all this is correct then it still doesn't explain why 'Your Party' keeps turning off party chat 6 or more times within an hour last night...

Maybe MS is still working out bugs???? If that is true then OK. I just didn't want it ending up being a problem on my end.
