    I cannot send messages over xbox live

    Message from xbox (Failed to send message)

    Message from xbox website (Because of your past behaviour, you will not be able to send any messages.)

    I have followed through the help and the enforcement site shows perfect player with no notices. I have not received any emails stating that a suspension or warning of any kind has been given to the account. so my question is what is going on?

    Any information on this matter would be great. anything i should be trying or somewhere i can go for information?

    I just created xbox live account and cannot send messages because it says "due to previous behavior you cannot send messages.

    I cannot send messages via Xbox Live. It keeps giving me an error. I have checked account status, and security settings, logged out and back in, but still cannot send messages. Help!

    Contacted xbox support.

    If this happens to you. Check that your alternative contact email is different to your microsoft account email and reset your password. Do a hard reset on your console and log back in. This worked for me.

    The reason you cannot send messages via Xbox Live is because you are not a Gold member. To send messages, you must have a Gold membership.
