Cannot Send Messages on Xbox One

Every time I try and create a new message on my Xbox, I only see a gray box that never loads in the text box. There is no error code.

I can receive messages just fine, and can only send messages with old conversations. My reputation is just fine as well, with no current communication ban. I have tried removing my account and re-downloading it, which did not work. My privacy settings are
not blocked, and I have an adult account. I have also tried the reputationcheck website, which changed nothing. Power cycling did not help, which I already knows clears the cache.

At this point I'm not sure what else to do and would like some help, thank you.

If your still having issues try resetting the xbox by hitting the keep all my games and apps reset if it don't work that way try fully reset by removing everything if problems still occur contact xbox support at support.xbox.com

If you haven't tried a power cycle yet, i'd give that a go first, if it persists, visit the enforcement page and see if you don't maybe have a communication ban.
