    Cannot send messages from any web browser on any platform, OK from XB1 or xbox app


    So here's my problem - I'm not able to send messages from any web browser when logged on to account.xbox.com.

    If I'm on a PC, I get a pop up message "An error has occurred, please try again later". All of the other menu items (e.g. Profile, Popular, Achievements, Friends, My games) work fine. If on my iPad or mobile phone, I just get a spinning thingy that just
    goes on forever.

    If I use the xbox app on my tablet or phone, I can send messages just fine. I can send messages from my Xbox just fine as well.

    I've gone through all the troubleshooters I can find on xbox.com. My account is not under a ban, I have checked for unusual activity, and have verified my proofs. I have hard restarted my console and rebooted my devices, cleared browser caches, and logged
    off and back in.

    Any ideas?

    I am using LFG.net Destiny to join raids etc

    for the last 3 weeks when LFG links to my xbox live account to send a message in a new browser window on my android phone I am getting

    An error has occurred, please try again later

    Also when I try to send messages from xbox app on my phone or from a web browser on my mac in work I am getting the same issue
    there is no error number

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app also I have been onto xbox support with no luck

    any help is appriciated

    Message don’t work.

    i'm having the same issue now but it lets me send messages from other devices such as my PC and from my iPhone's web browser. just not working from the xbox app on ios

    I think I found a solution to this. It worked for me at least. I was using Ubuntu Linux and couldn't get any messages to go because of this exact error. I installed user-agent switcher extension for chrome and set it to IE 10 and viola! Messages work again.
    Maybe give this a try.

    As I said earlier the Xbox console browser does not play any content from the Paramount Plus platform, while other platforms work perfectly in the browser despite not having an app.
