Cannot see profiles under the "see full profile" tab, or look at my own profile.

Ok, so whenever I try to click on the "My Profile" tab or on "See full profile" for friends, I get this error every single time. It states that "you'll need to sign in for this", with the error code 0x87c40132. This also occurs when I try to watch a gameclip
or look at a screenshot in full, with the same error, and saying I need to sign in for this. It doesn't compromise the playability of my xbox, but It is frustrating not being able to edit my account, or look at friends'.

It has been doing this for a while, and since it has gone unfixed I came here for any help.

I can't be the only one having this problem right?

Microsoft family / xBox privacy settings

Hi, I have setup up microsoft family members under my windows account and those accounts also have xbox profiles but when I log into xBox.com I cannot see my kid's profiles under privacy settings to allow me to manage preferences. I can only see and manage
my own. All the help pages indicate I should be able to see and manage their profiles along with my own. Thanks for any help that can be offered.

 

down loading my game tag

Hey bann, so it sounds like you cannot download your profile, correct? I'm curious, if you look at Gamer Profiles under 'Memory,' do you see any corrupted files, or any files with an exclamation point next to them? If so, can you please delete that, and
then try re-downloading your profile?

So we can make sure to get you the right info, can you reply back with some additional details?

1. Are you seeing this on an Xbox One console, or an Xbox 360 console?

2. Are you using a wired or wireless internet connection for that device?

3. Does that happen no matter which profile is signed in, or only with particular ones?

4. So we don't retrace anything, what troubleshooting steps, if any, have you already tried to resolve this issue?

 

This is an issue with the Xbox one, using a wireless connection.

It was happening with multiple profiles, and hard resetting the console has not fixed anything, nor has troubleshooting.

I am also sure that I am signed in when I try to look at these things.

 

Thanks for that! To clarify, when you mentioned that "resetting" the console hasn't helped, are you referring to a power cycle, or have you
restored the console to factory defaults?

Also, would you be able to include a picture of exactly what you're seeing on the screen when you see that error message?
