    Cannot see my Avatar or Gamertag Pic on new Xbox One s


    I have just purchased a new Xbox One S in South Africa. I do not have a kinect sensor. I cannot see my gamertag pic or my avatar that I have setup on my Xbox live account. When I login on my PC to my Xbox Live account, I can see my Gamertag pic and Avatar
    as I saved them previously on my Xbox 360, but when I go back to my new Xbox One S, I cannot see them.

    What's the purpose of modern Avatar?

    I am not sure what's the purpose of the new avatar system. First it doesn't appear on dashboard like X360. Second, no one use gamertag stickers anymore, and there isn't one on the new one as well. 3rd, there is no games 1st/2nd/3rd/IndieChannel games using avatar, there are planty avatar indie games on Xbox360.

    So what's the point? It only shows as a tiny gamer pic icon on the dashboard, it is so small, I cannot even see the mechanical legs.

    What's the long term goal for this? I don't get it.

    Transferring items to Xbox 1

    Avatar Items are automatically transferred and you can see them when customizing your avatar. Themes and Gamer Pics from 360 cannot be used on Xbox One. The only way to keep to use a 360 gamer pic is to not select an Xbox One pic.

    Hey there SuperStrikerRS.

    If you selected a different Gamerpic on your Xbox One, there isn't a way to revert to a previous Gamertag used on your Xbox 360. Luckily you can use custom gamerpics now, so you can always find a similar image to use Cannot see my Avatar or Gamertag Pic on new Xbox One s :)

    Hey there SuperStrikerRS.

    If you selected a different Gamerpic on your Xbox One, there isn't a way to revert to a previous Gamertag used on your Xbox 360. Luckily you can use custom gamerpics now, so you can always find a similar image to use :)

    Can you change your gamer pic in your profile on a web browser?
    I don't see a way to do that on xbox.com , under profile or otherwise.

    I can change the pic on xbox app, but as stated I don't have access to the pic as it was from xbox 360's avatar system, and the avatar system on xbox one can't re-create it. I tried when I replaced the dog image after like a week of it staying that way, it
    looks nothing like my original avatar and I'm even missing clothes I used on my avatar on xbox 360.

    I do not believe all of those things are better. Party chat is more stable on the Xbox 360. But no where near the quality of Xbox One.

    Avatar and Gamer Pics are needed. With each new release of a game and even some TV shows and Movies generally came new avatar and Gamer Pics. This should be the case for Xbox One. Some sweet Marius Titus (Ryse : Son of Rome ) armor or Damocles armor.
    Or a Titanfall Titan Avatar prop. Where it would pick your avatar up and put you inside of the Titan. It is ridiculous that the gamer pics are this bad on Xbox One.

    From my understanding, Xbox One is getting a new UI when windows 10 drops. Amd avatars will be more prominent

    hum.... have you tried to change your gamer pic, gamertag and or avatar in a xbox one or Xbox app for windows 10? you can change your picture for xbox one and mainly everywhere else. (I am assuming that the gamertag change worked)

    another thing you can do is download the Xbox Avatars app from the Windows Store:

    see if that would make it wake up for the changes.
