Cannot screenshot or record on Xbox App (Windows 10)

Hi, i've been problem of not being able to use the DVR functions within Xbox app on windows 10. Every time I initiate a game I get the game bar to appear saying that I am able to screenshot the game, but as i do so it says it can't find Captures folder.
When I try to check the DVR settings within the app, all i get is Something went wrong. Try again later. No error code, nothing more other than that message. I've tried the troubleshoot options given by Xbox but nothing works. I have the app updated to it's
most recent version and I have not been able to find a solution sadly. I have an Nvidia gtx 960 to work with and it has worked before, but suddenly it hasn't anymore.

    :)

Xbox One Wireless Adapter does not play nicely with Steam Big Picture

Open the XBOX app in Windows 10

    Click on the Settings Cog

Click on the Game DVR tab

Switch Record game clips and screenshots using Game DVR to the Off position

Recording gameplay through steaming without a capture card?

As above, launch xbox app on Windows 10, and stream from xbox to pc, then use fraps or something similar to record it

I don't believe it started after an update, the issue seemed to start when I had rebooted windows, as in reinstalled it with the recovery features due to some problems the O.S was having. I have freshly installed drives and the latest version and it has
been updated to the most recent version there is. And yes It occurs on every game I have, even if im not within the game, when i press Windows + G I get the same message "It can't find Captures folder" Thank you for your response Cannot screenshot or record on Xbox App (Windows 10) :)

To resolve the issue, we recommend that you run the Windows App Troubleshooter

    3. On the General tab, click the Normal Startup, and then click OK.
    4. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Restart.

Method 2. Reset Windows Store cache.

    1. Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.
    2. Click on Command Prompt (Admin).
    3. Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.
    4. Close the Command prompt, and then launch Windows Store.

Thank you for responding Cannot screenshot or record on Xbox App (Windows 10) :).

When I ran the troubleshooter the first time, it said there was an issue with the app and had to restart to fix it, which it did. But I ran the troubleshooter a second time and it says that the windows store cache may be damaged, so I tried the first method,
but it was already on normal setup so that didn't seem like the issue. Then I tried the second method, i reset the store and I uninstalled and reinstalled the xbox app and the issue still seems to remain with the DVR. After all these actions I ran the troubleshooter
again and it says the same error:

To remove software conflicts that may have caused the damage on the Windows Store, you can perform a clean boot to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs.

This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows 10. You can follow the steps stated on this

    link
    .

We also recommend that you check for any available updates on your computer.

To check for updates now, select the Start button and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your PC is up to date, you have all the updates that are
    currently available.

    Keep us posted.
