    Hey guys, so I recorded some clips on Fallout 4, and I can't seem to save any of my clips from Game DVR to wherever I should be able to save them to get a copy of them. Every time I try saving, I get the error message "Sorry, the capture you selected was
    not saved. Please try again. The videos are also not shown in SmartGlass. On these forums (and others) I find plenty of users with the same issue, but not one single satisfactory answer. It appears the problem has been unsolved for a long time as most threads
    are closed and unanswered. The stock response being to start a new thread. Unacceptable, MS. Or am I wrong? I hope so!

    Any ideas?

    Having trouble trimming a clip

    Has the clip finished uploading completely before you are trying to edit? Also do you still have adequate space on your DVR for more clips to be recorded (as it will need to save a new file)?

    Would you mind detailing the troubleshooting steps you have tried so far and post the error code for us so we can better assist you? Thanks in advance! Here are a few things to get out of the way for starters to try to resolve your issue. If the first
    solution doesn't work, move on to the next one and then try again.

    Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

    Remove your profile, power cycle, then re-add your profile to your console

    -Remove Account from Xbox One Console

    -Download Xbox Live Profile to an Xbox One Console

    Check your console for updates

    Go to Settings>All settings>System>Console info & Updates.

    Let us know how those solutions turn out and if you had any updates!

    Hello,

    I am having the exact same issue. I have even factory reset my Xbox and the problem is still present. I have Reported a Problem under the Preview Dashboard on 1/6/15. Is there anyway that this problem could be corrected?

    Hello, I have the same problem. I tried everything: clean cache, factory resect, even an offline usb update. Don't work. It's impossible save clips. Also I changed my xbox 500gb to xbox 1tb and I lost all my previous clip. Anyone could help me?

    Hello,

    I am in the same situation : it's impossible to save clips or screenshots (they are tagged as "temporary" thus, after a couple of days, they disappear!).

    Is there a solution?

    I have a similar problem too, I can take screenshots, I can record clips, but my problem is that I cannot save my captures from before I got Xbox Gold. Clips I can save if I edit them in Upload Studios and record clips now but I cannot save the old ones
    through Game DVR. Screenshots I can only save if I took them after getting XBox Gold not the ones I took before. Is this a bug?
