Cannot run, delete or install games on xbox(beta).

I've bought xbox game pass for pc then downloaded xbox(beta). Everything went ok at first, but one day when I tried to start a game, it didn't work. No prompts and no windows.

I checked the storage of system setting, found some game files size were 0kb. Because I was using windows preview edition (1903 20H1), so I formatted and reinstalled the formal edition.

the same problem appeared again after a week. At this time, I found that my storage space has not changed. I checked WindowsApps folder and found a file of the same size without a suffix (wolfenstein2 53.4GB). I can't run it but can delete it. Although I
have deleted the game in the system settings, I can still see the empty folder with the game name, which can not be deleted.

I tried reinstalling Windows Store and restoring settings but it didn't work, and I found that only games in Windows Store which are Game Pass included can't be downloaded(Error code:
0x80073cfc). So I think there is a bug in the XBOX (beta) or game pass service.

I have this exact same issue. I tried reinstalling the app, reinstalling the games but it won't let me play or reinstall any game as of now. I'll have to cancel my subscription since literally everything is unplayable.

Hi Baptiste,

It's still not clear what app or game you are having trouble downloading. If you cannot download the Xbox (Beta) app for whatever reason, the easiest way to get the app is to use the Xbox
(Beta) app installer.

If your version of Windows needs to be updated to run the Xbox (Beta) app, the installer will help you through that process.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help.

It seems like the app was possibly not uninstalled or deleted properly from your PC and now it freezes when trying to re-install. Do you see the app still in your Task manager? Click where it says more details and go through each tab
and locate the Xbox game pass beta app. Right click and then select Open file location, which should open the folder with any files you would still need to delete.

Open run window (Windowskey + R) - Type in: "%appdata%" - Delete the Xbox app (beta) for the PC Game Pass folder in the roaming folder (You should be in it already). Go back one folder, then you should end up in Appdata - Go to
"Local" - Delete the beta Xbox app folder in there too. You can also get to the local folder by typing %localappdata% in the run window. Once you delete the folders for the app that is having issues, try re-installing again from this website https://www.xbox.com/xbox-game-pass/pc-games.
