Cannot retrieve saved data

Discus and support Cannot retrieve saved data in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; All of a sudden my game will not load.     All of a sudden my game will not load. It's only happening in the last couple of days and I have not been online in months. Is there a fix for this?

    plants vs zombies missing save data.

    Error: Failed to retrieve your saved data!

    I tried jumping into a game this morning and got "Error: Failed to retrieve your saved data!". If I select "A" it asks me if I really want to proceed with no saving.

    any ideas???

    what happens to my saved data?

    if i send my 360 s in for repair..how do i retrieve all my saved data?? i.e. gamer profiles-saved games-achievements? the harddrive doesnt come off

    Cannot retrieve saved data

    Delete your local saved data like this:

    On Home, select My games and apps. Highlight the game, press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage game. In the menu on the left of the screen, scroll down to Saved Data, then highlight the saved data for your gamertag on the right and
    press the A button on your controller. You'll be prompted to confirm deletion of this game save data: Delete from console removes the local copy of this save. You can get it from the cloud the next time you play.

    Restart the console and start the game again

    Usually if data is corrupt it cannot be retrieved. You could look around the saved game folder on the hard drive to see if it is still there, which could tell if it is corrupt, or completely gone off the hard drive.

    Unless you had the save backed up somewhere, there is no way to retrieve that data.

    The saved data is in the cloud, so if you did a factory reset then you would be able to retrieve the data by just logging in with his account.
