Cannot remove or add new friends

I cannot remove or add new friends. I keep getting "Try again in awhile, we cannot add/remove this person right now!" I've done hard resets. Unplugs. Deleting/redownloading profile. Now its time for CS to help me.

Cannot add or remove friends

For some reason, my xbox one wont add friends but they are able to add me and i can't see if they're even on. Can someone help me

 

Hey there, have you tried through the website at all? If you hover your mouse over your gamertag at the top right of the screen and click friends, you should be able to add and remove through there. I know that's not the best solution, but could get you
by for now.

 

Nope it says I cannot remove/add friends on my browser as well.

 

Ok, so I thought I'd test this for you seeing as I have some requests I haven't bothered to accept or decline and I'm getting the same error as you. I'd say even though there isn't a service alert for it at the moment, there is some issues with friends that
we might just have to wait it out.

In having the same issue, I'm unable to remove friends/block users, on smartglass, xbox one, or xbox.com
