Cannot remove certain followers

Im having difficulty removing certain followers off my follower list; mainly this one guy who modded his GTA online account.

I tried blocking them to remove them off of the list, but they still appear in my followers list; I don't appear in their friends list, however the front of their profile shows that they still have me added(when they do not). Is there a more definitive way
to remove followers?

People are "followers" when they add your gamertag to their friends list, but you didn't add them to your friends list. There is currently no way to remove followers, as far as I know. The only way this person gets off your follower list is if they remove
your gamertag from their friends list.

If you don't want this specific follower to contact you in any way, blocking them is all you have to do. Blocking prevents invites, messaging/talking to you, and seeing your online activity.

You cannot remove your followers, only can ask them to remove you. When shows that they have you added....they do, you cannot change it by remove and blocking, the blocking option just make that they cant contact you, and you appears offline to them, but
still appears on their friends list.
