Cannot remove a Follower

I don't like random Followers so I will block them. Blocking them has removed them all from my Followers list, except for 1 person.

I can not seem to remove this person from my Followers list. It seems like a bug.

I called Xbox Live support but they were unable to help me.

When I click on their name, the only options are Report or Unblock.

They also still show up as a suggested Friend since they are a Follower.

What gives ?

I have just unblocked and reblocked the person on xbox.com, the xbox app and on the xbox one console. They still appear as a follower.

Time is 8am GMT on Sat 11th

If you unblock them and then block them again does it remain "stuck"?

 

You might want to go into your privacy settings and block everyone but friends from seeing your activity. I can see your activity like clips you made etc.

This is just inviting potential followers. I know I never follow anyone who makes their activity private.

Do this and people will be less likely to follow. It wont stop followers completely though as some star wars fans may follow you because of your gamertag.

The problem with blocking people is you are just making it harder for yourself to play multiplayer as you wont get put in lobbies with people on your block list.

 

I don't even know why this is still an issue. I'm having the same problem with 6 followers I DON'T want. I understand that there are people who love this feature and it's the cornerstone of their so called social lives, but not everyone needs or wants this
feature. If it HAS to be there at least give us the ability to block or shut this feature off. Having the choice would be nice. Thanks.

 

If you want the ability to block this feature then you need to request it.

So search that site and if has already been requested you should vote for it. If it hasn't then you should request it yourself.

I now have this same exact problem Mister Beep, I have 2 people following me that I do not want following me. I've tried everything, yet they still show up as followers.

Hello, You may want to try adding him as a friend (Shocker) Then going to his profile and removing him as a friend and block him. Adding him as a friend can also work if you have a 360. Go to your 360 friends list and block him, or find him on the 360 and
block him, I transfers over! hope I helped

 

First person to come up with a fix for this gets a hi 5 and a turbo mansion,as weird as that statement from handsome jack was borderlands fans will get it,weird dosent come close as to why xbox live hasent fixed this problem yet
