cannot reinstall minecraft on laptop

It sounds like you got it from the gamepass, this is a simple fix (if that is the case) all you need to do is get the xbox app from the microsoft store, once downloaded you can get all PC compatible and exclusive games.

Hi, I have a similar problem... I bought Minecraft Starter for Windows 10 on July 27, 2019... now that I want to resintall it (I had to reset my laptop so everything must be reinstalled) I cannot find it in my Microsoft Store. It is there in my purchased
history, but when I click it, it go straight to Microsoft Store and ask me to buy it... Pls help T^T

That could be because bthe license for windows it's not activated or a network issue, try to restart the Pc and reset your network
