    Tried to register my xbox to my account via this link Register (or Unregister) Your Xbox | Xbox Product Registration, however whenever
    I try it just says cannot register this device try again in a few minutes. I've tried it intermittently over the last several weeks, tried today as well same issue everytime

    any work around for this? thank you

    After logging in today, I noticed that my xbox one was not associated with my gamertag for support. I attempted several times to add my serial number and register my console, but I keep getting a message that my console cannot be registered.

    Sorry you're having issues registering your device. I would first try to use a different web browser to see if that is the issue. It you get the same error message with a second web browser, I would suggest contacting
    customer service here    .

    I have registered all 3. When I contact support they say they cannot find my serial numbers, but i'm looking at them on the registered device page. I even got ahead of the game and made sure my Xbox One and Kinect were registered weeks ahead of the Xbox
    One S release. 2016 and MS cannot even assist loyal customers in a proper fashion. Pathetic....

    A controller cannot be registered, Make sure your console is registered to your account, Contact xbox support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX then they will need proof of purchase (receipt) of the controller and will be able to help you. I had to prove that my controller
    was purchased within the last 90days by sending copy of my receipt to the rep when I called in.
