Cannot redownload "Gaming Services" - "Get" button missing

Hello Larry, Before you try to reinstall Gaming Services, make sure your Windows has the latest version of the system installed.

Updates often seen as optional, Microsoft released major fixes this week, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed.

If you haven't updated yet, click the link below, update and then make all subsequent security updates.

Also make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store.

The problem you're experiencing is most likely caused by a corrupted or missing file in the Gaming Services app. This app is required for some games to run properly on Windows 10, including Minecraft. Unfortunately, there is no direct way to install this app from the Microsoft Store, as it is hidden from the public.



The only way to install or reinstall this app is through PowerShell commands. I know you have already tried some of them, but please bear with me and follow these steps carefully:



Reinstall the Gaming Services app on your Windows 10/11 device:

1. Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.
   
2. In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:
   
   get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
   
3. In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:
   
   start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
   
4. Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
   
5. Restart your device and try to install the game again.

Sorry to hear it. Your tag is showing as having a Gold membership so odds are the code went through fine for you. You can also check your membership status at the following link:

If you cannot access Live enabled services such as online multiplayer please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds or by deleting your gamertag, power cycling and then redownloading it.

did that, as thats how i had done it before, nothing is listed there now. bought these around5 months ago
