Cannot Redeem Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Code - Error 0x80131500

I recently purchased an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate code, but when I try to redeem it through the Microsoft Store on my console, I encounter an error message with the code 0x80131500. I've checked my internet connection, and everything seems fine. I've also tried redeeming the code both through the Xbox website and the console itself, but the issue persists. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, what steps did you take to resolve it? Any help would be appreciated!

Typos are the most common reason for code errors, and the following characters aren't accepted: A, E, I, O, U, L, S, 0, 1, and 5. As part of our isolation, please try to redeem it using a different browser such as Microsoft Edge while in incognito / InPrivate mode and use this link:

Important: Before you redeem your code, make sure that you're signed in to the correct Microsoft account on your device or browser. Codes that are redeemed on the wrong account cannot be transferred to another Microsoft account by Xbox Support.

Do you have Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate? Because the error speak about "conversion", maybe you are trying to redeem an Xbox Live code of a different region and conversion to Game Pass Ultimate don't work in this way. As additional information the codes
are always region assigned.

If you are already a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, then any Gold codes you redeem will be converted to Game Pass Ultimate. If you are not an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscriber, then no, the Gold codes should not convert to Game Pass Ultimate.

I’m sorry to hear you are having issues with Game Pass for PC.

I’m not sure what advantages you are talking about. Which Game Pass Ultimate Perks are you trying to download where you receive this error?

To redeem your perks, you must enter the code on your console or PC app you cannot redeem them via mobile.
