    Cannot redeem Rainbox Six Vegas codes


    I have acquired a physical Game of Rainbox Six Siege that came with two Xbox 360 Codes for Rainbox Six Vegas 1 and 2.

    The disk was accepted and installed it's game fine in my Xbox one, however the two codes refuse to redeem regardless where I try on the site or console.

    The error I get when trying in the xbox one console is:

    "You can't acquire this item in the language you have currently selected"



    I've also tried to redeem on the Microsoft
    web site     and it sends me to redeem it on the console.

    "Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page.

    Xbox. Please redeem this code on your console."

    I also checked both codes via Virtual assistant yesterday. Unfortunately it only states that some system is experiencing problems and I should retry a bit later. Well, I did, but it does not change anything.

    Account, Language and Location

    The console language is English UK and location is set to
    UK. The Live account is also hosted in UK, as last month I've moved it from the Germany to UK.
    I have a written confirmation.

    I require help in understanding what might be wrong and how the two games can be redeemed.

    Hello Dorian,

    Any chance that this is a German copy of the game? Because from personal experience I know that some codes are restricted to countries.

    If this is the case, you could try to redeem the codes online, but as a work around since you're now in the UK you can use a VPN connection to simulate you are in Germany and then login to xbox.com as regular and redeem the code. This might sound a bit strange
    maybe, but this has solved the issue for me once when I bought an xbox live card on online that was restricted to the country it came from.
