    Cannot Redeem my membership code


    I recently bought a brand new 12 month membership card so I could renew my Xbox Live from Walmart. When I got home, I first tried to put it into my Xbox One but it said that the card had to still be activated. I then tried on my computer and when I put the
    code in it identified it as a 12 month membership card but when I tried to continue past that screen it gave me an error sign. Eventually I took it back to Walmart to see if they could do anything but they said that they had already activated it and it showed
    it on the receipt so there was nothing they could do and that the problem lies on the on the other side with Xbox or Microsoft.

    (god i shouldn't be helping you...supporting that team!. arrrggghhh Cannot Redeem my membership code :) )

    I had the same problem, which was really confusing for me to start with, I couldn't do anything online because the xbox one wanted me to accept updated terms and conditions to start with, when it did this I got a error which stopped me connecting to live, and although I could browse the web I couldn't get on the live service

    to get round this I went to the xbox live account on my pc and accepted them there - it then worked instantly.

    however from previous threads it seems like your already on live.

    I have the same problem in that I was given a two free day trial when I purchased Fifa 16 and cannot redeem the 25 character code as it comes up with "you have a gold membership already" when I know my Xbox live ran out on the 01/12/15 and today's date is

    My Xbox Gold membership ended early and I buy a prepaid card and it says an error occurs

    I too cannot redeem my prepaid 12month gold xbox live membership card on my Xbox one, It says something went wrong after it already confirms that it's a valid card and what it is redeemable for,

    I do not have any fraud or suspicious behavior and I can't redeem my code, This isn't my problem either, It's MS problem like above me said, Fix it!

    Registering with ELITE Founder Membership???

    as long as you redeem the code for your elite membership on xbox you will get founder status the founder card is just for those who cannot redeem there code before the founder deadline eg. someone getting it for xmas they dont miss out on founder status
    they have now extended the deadline until end of the month so as long as you reddem your membership before then you wont miss out on anything.
