    Cannot redeem Minecraft Bedrock Edition despite having Minecraft Java Edition


    After Minecraft Java Edition and Bedrock Edition were merged, they gave out Bedrock Edition to users who already own Java Edition. On the store, it would show 'get' instead of 'buy' for users who already own Java Edition. However, it still showed buy for me.

    After looking into it for a while, I realised that it didn't even show that I owned Minecraft Java Edition, even though I already own it. This is how it currently looks like:

    It is supposed to say 'Install/play' and there should be a checkmark saying 'You own this game.' I own the game, but it doesn't show.

    I checked my account and everything, and verified that it was the same account. The issue is that it doesn't show that I own Minecraft Java Edition. I would appreciate any solutions to this problem.

    if i got the minecraft java redeem code and i redeemed it will i get bedrock for free or i need to buy the redeem code of the java & bedrock ???

    Thanks alot Ben and im doing well but i meant if i want to get a minecraft java redeem code will i get minecraft bedrock also cuz Im thinking about buying minecraft java redeem code and because minecraft did the java & bedrock edition together that means that i will get minecraft bedrock too

    Can you get minecraft java and bedrock edition with a xbox giftcard?

    So I go to minecraft java and bedrock edition and then click redeem a code under the three dots. After that i wait for it purchase. Then i got to the xbox app go into the microsoft acc that has minecraft on it then i will be able to access minecraft bedrock and java edition. I am correct right?

    So then do i redeem the code on the giftcard and click next?

    And does it have to be the exaclty the same like minecraft java and bedrock edition costs $40 and i have a $50 xbox can i still get minecraft java and bedrock edition even if the xbox giftcard value $10 more?
