Cannot redeem game code.

Hello,

Last week I've bought a pack of game which contains 2 activation codes.

Since yesterday, I have issues when trying to activate these codes. On my xbox, the codes are both declared invalid.

On the website (Sign in to your Microsoft account) I have the following error :

"Une erreur s'est produite

Réessayez. Si ce problème persiste, faites-le nous savoir en entrant le code ci-dessous xbox.com/errorhelp afin que nous puissions mener une enquête."

Which can be translated to something like that : "An error occurs, try again. If the problem persists, tell us warn by looking this error code at xbox.com so we can investigate"

The error code is : Xbos-0x80153005 ee2a1a21-31c8-4837-9b44-68a8148456f1 2016/06/05 - 19:15:39 UTC

Please not that at this time the code is recognized and I've just accepted the conditions.

So, I've spent a lot of time with french support (using chat) and it was really useless.

- We've already tried to clean my xbox cache, and I have also tried from another computer using Internet Explorer (why not, not a bad idea)

- One of the guys of support I've talk to tells me to contact Rocksteady (game editor) to see what's wrong (Seriously?)

- The last one explains me there was actually an issue on xbox live (since 10min) so I was pretty happy that someone notice something was going wrong.

Now the service is back to normal, and the problem is still there.

So, as I can see that you don't have any tracking tool to follow you customers issues (I really feel like no one give a f. if the problem is solved), and because explain this problem again and again is driving me a little crazy, I thought it was a good idea
to post this here to keep an historical.

Now, I would really appreciate if someone wants to provide an constructive answer like "Ok, I've contacted the technical services, they noticed that something was actually not working, this will be patched soon, keep you in touch" instead of this :

- I will copy-paste all the topics I can find with the customer error code (Thank you, but I've already search in your database and tried this)

- "Maybe it's a bug in the website" (But I will not warn anyone at Microsoft), "Can I do something else for you ?"

Finally, sorry If I'm a little rude, but i really start to be upset. Also, I will be grateful if you excuse my poor english.

I had the same problem, which was really confusing for me to start with, I couldn't do anything online because the xbox one wanted me to accept updated terms and conditions to start with, when it did this I got a error which stopped me connecting to live, and although I could browse the web I couldn't get on the live service

to get round this I went to the xbox live account on my pc and accepted them there - it then worked instantly.

however from previous threads it seems like your already on live.

That code can also mean that the content is no longer available for download. What are the codes for?

 

The pack of games if Arkham Collection, one code for Arkham Asylum, the other one for Arkham City.

 

I just checked, no visible expiration date associated for both codes.

 

Try redeeming the code on the windows 10 app or the xbox website.

What content specifically are the codes for? As was mentioned earlier the code means that the content offer may no longer be available. This may not be due to an expiry but could also mean the content is no longer available for download.

By the way, the both games are still available in the market, so I guess it's possible to download them...
