    Cannot redeem code for gold


    I have tried to redeem a code for three months of gold membership. On my PC I get an error with no explanation. On my 360 I get a error with status code 80154007 with a message to go to
    www.xbox.com/errorhelp for assistance. A search for this code yields no results. How do I resolve this issue?

    (god i shouldn't be helping you...supporting that team!. arrrggghhh Cannot redeem code for gold :) )

    I had the same problem, which was really confusing for me to start with, I couldn't do anything online because the xbox one wanted me to accept updated terms and conditions to start with, when it did this I got a error which stopped me connecting to live, and although I could browse the web I couldn't get on the live service

    to get round this I went to the xbox live account on my pc and accepted them there - it then worked instantly.

    however from previous threads it seems like your already on live.

    actually Wednesday are big!

    What is error you receive on your PC? The error on the console could be due Invaild card do you make sure where ever you purchased the membership that they activated the card at the register?

    I would give it about 30 mins and try again it could be because the delay of activation time from the store to Microsoft. If you still can not get it to work on both PC or Console I can give you a link to Xbox Support Chat and they could help you as well
    if you are still unable to get it to redeem.

    2-day trials

    you cannot get gold back.

    ANY type of trials (48 hour/2 week/1 month/etc) are not stackable. so you redeemed a code wed-so either u had it wed/thursday or thursday/friday PLUS the free gold weekend. then now you can redeem another code and have that one.

    once the code is redeemed, it's redeemed and cannot be used again.

    if you didn't use it/internet was out/etc it's still cannot be used again and a refund cannot be processed.

    once a code is redeemed it cannot be redeemed if you are having trouble logging into the account with gold contact support they should be able to help you out

    well to redeem 48hour codes you cannot be gold

    if it is an out of region code and you bought it from the internet it wont work

    Hi there, so was the code for MS currency or was it an Xbox Live Gold subscription? Please note that you cannot use currency added to your account to buy gold subscriptions.

    Have you tried redeeming on the console itself? Steps here:

    I believe you can also try at the following link, scroll to the bottom and select 'redeem gift card'

    Xbox Live Rewards Redemption

    This can happen if you have redeemed GOLD whilst you were in another region or the redemption code was from another region, in cases like this you cannot stack the GOLD.

    You will need to wait till that GOLD has expired before you can redeem that GOLD code.

    You could contact Support and see if they could issue another code, but then they would need to confirm your details.
