    cannot redeem code because of language?


    I bought a new xbox one x here in Switzerland.

    my account is set for Switzerland as country and italian as Language (which is main Language in this region of switzerland)

    i tried to redeem the xbox live gold 14-days free trial, but it failed to redeem, asking me to change Language in settings

    why do i have to do that? are all codes Language-locked for some reason? what happens to my redeemed codes if i later change Language back to italian?

    some codes are language-locked. nothing will happen if you change back to italian.

    That's right, some codes are language-locked, so you have change your language back if you want the code to start working.

    What error message/code do you receive when you try redeeming the code? Does your account region match your physical location?

    That game is region locked so that is usually the issue when trying to redeem it.
    I tried all region and language combination, it all told me cannot redeem on my region and language. I guess it cannot redeem on Earth

    Are you getting an error message when you try to redeem? If so, please post back with the error code that you received so we can further assist. Error codes will look similar to either XBOS-0000 or 0x00000000.

    it tell me i can't redeem the code because of the language, and when i tried to redeem it in the website it told the code is already redeemed
