Cannot redeem a giftcard of different region

Hello Xbox support forum, I didn't know where to ask.

I was given an Xbox Live Gold from Xbox Live, as a reward for completing

my December Game Pass Quest.

And when I redeemed this code it didn't worked and said that I currently have a

subscription from a different region and that I need to contact support.

My region is in Denmark, and I really want to get my reward. Where do I contact support ?

Activated x2 10 euro Gift Cards and got 0 euros

Did you buy the correct regional giftcards?

All giftcards are region locked

Meaning you cannot buy uk or french giftcards and use them in a german account for example

So if you buy uk points it can only be redeemed on an uk account

You can check your balance at commerce.microsoft.com

Keep in mind currency does not transfer between regions

 

Redeeming codes from different regions

I have a code but cannot redeem it as it says it was bought in different region.

 

It got fixed, and the code got redeemed perfectly !

I just needed to change my region/country of my own on the console.
