    A lot of games are IP locked which means that if you have an account set for a different country (US for example) than you live in you still may not be able to download the content.

    yeah i heard about that too. But with this membership card this ip doesent mean anything. Thats what console shop and gamesshop assistant told me . But yeah.. i changed these countrys and still have a problem. Now trying to do this paypal account too, then
    checking again :/

    Cannot redeem a code

    First, accessing Xbox LIVE in a non-supported region is against the ToU and will get your account and console banned.

    Second, prepaid cards are designed for use in specific regions so the IP address along with the console's region do indeed matter. If your region is not supported by Xbox LIVE that means your region does not have prepaid cards available to it.

    Third, setting up a PayPal account won't do any good either since you report Xbox LIVE is not supported in your region. The most that will happen is you will be charged the equivalent of $59.99 USD and will not be able to access the Marketplace because your
    physical location is in an unsupported region.

    I actually bought a 12 month prepaid from Microsoft.com last night and have been having the exact same issues. All I get is the "Something went wrong" error message on my Xbox One and on my laptop. I spoke with customer service last night who tried various
    things and have no idea what the issue is. I was bumped up to a Consumer Advocate but was told it could take 2-7 days to hear from them. All I wanted was to add 12 months to my xbox live =(

    Heey quys.. i Dont know, maybe you allready have find a solution, but.. i did Cannot redeem a code :)))) . This microsoft helpdude found a way to help me... okei, listen:

    Maybe you can change all the infos for your old account too.. but.. i tryd and it didnt worked for me.. so, i made a new account.. Yees.. badly all my achiments , score went down to zero .. but atleast all codes are working now. Game code redeemed, live
    works.. niice.. so what to do? I changed my region, my aadres and info all In UK.. i just made a new account, a new email addres and all infos i butted, like i live in UK now. Even postal codes and phone nr. But for you people, to be sure i success you to
    chat with microsoft support. Ask what region redeem codes you have, so this region you need to use if you make your new account.

    So, i hope it was helpful. My new account is ArluarZ now, if someone want to meet a new friend in XboxLive Cannot redeem a code :)

    Hi guys im new also but when i bought a one week trial for my account it also had a problem as CrazyTurtle76 so i tried to redeem it on my xbox but it say it isnt valid! Can you guys find a solution! ;(

    If the code is not a 25 character code, then it cannot be redeemed on Xbox. You would need to redeem the code on the Fastcard website.

    2-day trials

    you cannot get gold back.

    ANY type of trials (48 hour/2 week/1 month/etc) are not stackable. so you redeemed a code wed-so either u had it wed/thursday or thursday/friday PLUS the free gold weekend. then now you can redeem another code and have that one.

    once the code is redeemed, it's redeemed and cannot be used again.

    if you didn't use it/internet was out/etc it's still cannot be used again and a refund cannot be processed.

    If you redeemed the codes, then they are tied to the account that redeemed them and cannot be transferred to a new owner.

    Hey there!

    You cannot redeem them at the same time. Redeem one code, then wait for the pass to expire (make sure you've cancelled the auto-renew) then redeem the second code.
