    Cannot record with Xbox DVR


    Hello,

    when I try to use Xbox DVR to record, after about 10 second,

    it stopped and this happen.

    I have used DVR for a few times before, it works fine.

    I have tried the way in here.

    using the DVR service on Xboxone

    Sorry but you cannot record live TV from the Xbox One using DVR. You can only use the DVR to record Xbox One video games.

    Xbox One DVR will not record

    Guys,

    My xbox one dvr will not work, i can not record via any method, when i go to xbox game dvr and start clip i get an error saying the xbox one can not record that, any suggestions, to re cap, i can record ANY footage or anything with xbox one dvr, thanks.

    Sorry but you cannot record live TV from the Xbox One using DVR. You can only use the DVR to record Xbox One video games.

    I cannot control the Uverse DVR functions on mine. I can watch tv, but cannot access recorded show, or set shows to record, unless I just control the DVR as I did before Xbox One. If that is how it's done, then what is the point of connecting the cable
    to Xbox One?

    its official!!!!!!

    You should say "Xbox Record that" to record the last 30 secs. If you say "Xbox go to game dvr" it will snap the dvr but you than have to manually hit record.

    Colossal waste of time with TV setup - Comcast service

    To clarify a bit, you can still use the DVR as expected, to record and the like... You cannot record shows to the Xbox. For accessing the DVR content stored on the STB you can still use the factory remote, same as always. I tend to shy away from splitters
    if possible. I can go into more detail off-line, but I would not recommend it.
