    Cannot reconnect xbox controller to Windows 10 PC


    I have a Bluetooth Xbox controller paired to my laptop, but I can't get the controller to connect. When I turn on the controller, the light flashes but it does not connect. I can't find any option to connect it manually, so it seems the only way to connect
    it is to remove the controller in settings and then repair it. Am I missing something obvious?

    Thanks for the help, it seems to be working OK now. I ran the Bluetooth troubleshooter and it said that it fixed something. Then I removed the controller from the Bluetooth menu, turned all the other Bluetooth devices off and restarted the computer. Then
    I re-paired the controller, turned it off then on again and it connected. And to answer your first question, it has worked normally before, but it has been a while since I last used the controller via Bluetooth with this computer.

    Update your Xbox One Controller page     to make sure the drivers are up to date and match between the PC and the Controller itself. Give it a shot and keep us posted!
