Cannot reach the content blocks on the home screen.

I've been having the same issue, what happens to me is that it says that it cannot reach the content blocks on the home screen.

After trying to sign in i'm brought to a loading screen that goes on for around 7-8 minutes until it finally brings me to a screen that says that i must connect to the internet to sign in, which i already am connected to. I know this because while i try
to sign in, my console uses bandwidth quite liberally, for each attempt to sign in it burns through about 45 megabytes.

I'll try doing a soft-reset, but the same thing is happening to me. as of now, I've been trying to sign in for around an hour, so please, we need some help over here.

Also, something interesting to note, i am signed in when i turn on my console, but it quickly signs me out and says "Sorry, trey" like it is going to ask for my password. However, it doesn't require my password anywhere, or if it does i haven't sat through
enough loading screens to get to that point. This was also happening yesterday, however by some miracle i managed to sign in last night, but there were no content blocks showing up after i signed in either, clubs were taking a very long time to load, friends
profile pictures weren't appearing, and everything was just generally slower. Please, make sure to go back and test the updates, see if anything else was wrong with them. I'm using an Xbox one S as well, so it may be that any recent updates threw something
off with them because i'm experiencing the exact same issues as him or her.

Edit: i went back and checked updates, it turns out that i haven't updated for a few months, maybe something was turned off for the automatic updates, but i'll let you know if anything fixes after downloading them.

    :)

    Hello
    TreySecord
    !

Thanks for reaching out to us today. I'm sorry to hear about the current issue with signing in on Xbox Live.

I moved your post to its own thread so we can tailor our support directly to you.

Yes, the fact that you haven't updated for console in a good while might be contributing to the issue that you're experiencing.

    The
How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One
is one of our favorite fix-all troubleshooting methods for issues like you've

described. Let us know how that goes!

How long have you been experiencing this particular issue?

We're currently having a Service Alert for our Xbox Services that may be contributing to the issue that you're experiencing.

We do apologize for the inconvenience, and for more updates feel free to check out our service status here https://support.xbox.com//xbox-

    live-status.

One thing I do recommend is unplugging your Xbox console from the power supply / wall outlet for 5 minutes

How to restart or power cycle

your Xbox One console and rebooting your modem / router for 5 minutes. Once both devices are
back up and running see if that helps and let

    us know!

    Best wishes,

    Felix

To customize your Xbox One Home screen with 'Content Blocks', scroll all the way down on your Xbox One Home screen on the Xbox One dashboard to add Content Blocks. If you have already added a Content Block before, the option will be all the way at the bottom
under 'Add more' and 'See all suggestions'. If it is your first time adding a Content Block, you will still see the steps to get started at the bottom of the Home page.

    Hope this helps!

    Xbox Content Blocks

Why would you need to block content when you are offline?
Content blocks as in game icons or a games list on the home screen

Blocked person showing up on my add more on home page every time I turn my xbox on?

I've only done this once, so I can't guarantee it will work for you, but what worked for me is to add the person to my home screen, so they have their own content block, then immediately remove the block. Once the block was added and removed, they were no longer recommended at the bottom of the home screen.

    KBM not working

Hi LJ. My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor.

The WASD keys cannot be used on the home screen, there is nothing assigned to them. To navigate the home screen, use the keyboard's arrow keys instead.

Please reach back if you have further questions.

    Thanks,
    Kyle
