Cannot purchase Red Dead Redemption. Please help.

Hello,

I've been trying to buy RDR base game since this morning but am unable to do so. I''ve tried it with both my xbox one and through the xbox website but the transaction just does not go through and keep getting the same failed message over and over again.

I bought the DLC without issues, it's just the base game that's giving me trouble. I just keep getting "Sorry, Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again later." message.

Please help.

Issues buying Red Dead Redemption

Is anybody having any issues with buying Red Dead Redemption? I'm on Xbox One and trying to buy the copy of it for $7.49. Everytime I go to purchase it, I get the "Sorry Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again." I have updated my
payment info and it still will not work.

HELP!!

It seems like this is an ongoing issue for Red Dead Redemption.

If you want, you can try to get it from the 360 console using money on your account .

 

I am also trying it but it does not work.Xbox live is with some issues on buying games,you should only wait for the servers to go back into normal.

Hi, any luck with it? I did the same thing. Could purchase the dlc's but not the main game.

 

They're still having issues with RDR at the moment per their Service Alerts:

Hey, guys! Thanks for letting us know that you're running into issues with purchasing Red Dead Redemption.

We're currently aware of the situation, as evidence by the service alert that GunWrath linked to. If you are still having this issue, first make sure that your account region matches your physical region. You can do this by attempting a region migration.
If you're all set there, or you've completed that, try purchasing the game again.

If that doesn't help you out, then please post back what region you're in, and the exact error you're receiving. I'll get that information to the right team to help you out.

 

Hello, I guess the issue is fixed now but I won't be testing it as the sale is over and I will be getting the physical copy instead as its cheaper now. Thanks for the support anyways.
