    Cannot purchase GOLD status + double billing?


    Hi there,

    There is an issue with billing while purchasing the Gold status - since there is a sale on a Gold status, I've tried to purchase it. Current price on Gold is 30 RUB (average price is 599 RUB). I've entered all the needed data (just added a new VISA card).
    The first payment was ok (30 RUB), but straight after that I was charged for an additional 56 RUB. I've thought - "Well, this is a little odd, but ok". But right after the second payment, system indicated that the payment cannot be proceeded. And the most
    importantly - the GOLD status was not active. In my account I did not see any active subscriptions. What is the problem? What's with the additional payments?

    I plan to after work, but I was making sure no major issues were occuring that I was unaware of.

    So over the course of the night, I have made numerous attempts at purchasing a Gold account, all of which have failed.

    You name it, I've done it: Through console, through the website, checked accounts.live.com (based on the error), checked the Microsoft account site (as my card was being called invalid), scoped my billing for previously owed fees (of which I did not see
    any).

    I've even tried to create a new profile, which still failed. Now I just get the 'cannot process at this time' that apparently comes with too many attempts in one day.

    Would love to get some help, and I'll answer any questions that could further advance a resolution to this.

    May I suggest that you double check the status of your account at "Xbox subscriptions" and or "Check
    your Xbox purchase history    " . Regardless of anyone's status, you can always check out the "Deals with Gold" . Let us know if your Xbox Live Gold account is current and up-to-date, but
    continue issues with it.

    Payment Options Issue

    The reason your account has been suspended is because you owe money. Odds are you got a billing issue error code. The account probably tried to bill your grandmother's card and was refused. You need to either go to billing.microsoft.com and arrange payment
    or contact support and ask to speak with billing.

    The card cannot be removed while you are still in gold status as it will remove the gold. For this, you will need to contact support and ask them to freeze auto renewal on the card. When your gold has run out, you can remove the card.

    Finally all purchasing ability has been frozen until you take care of this. This includes adding codes for content.

    If you want to know your current gold status, go to the MS site, then Payment and Bills, and Order list.

    There should be listed your purchase, as well as your current Xbox Live Gold subscription.
