    Cannot Purchase Games from Game Store


    Every time I try to purchase a game I get the PBR2002 error code telling me to add a new payment method. I have added two new payment methods, and I still receive the same error code. I am also having trouble buying anything on Windows 8 with my Windows
    Live ID, as well as redeeming Bing rewards credits using the same Windows Live ID. Is there a possibility that something is up with my account? I have also checked my billing overview and it shows no discrepancies.

    Actually it is because the 100EUR is set on the region Nederland/NL if this can be transitioned to USA I can then use it to buy content with on my Xbox One.

    Please help me, I have contacted LIVE chat three times, three times I was redirected to a freakin Spanish department and three times they redirected me back to an English department that couldnt help.

    I have been sitting here with my One for over 4 hours! And I can't do anything!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Cannot Purchase Games from Game Store

    Hello,

    I have the exact same problem.

    I purchased some gift card at the airport, redeemed 2 of them and they are available on my account but get an error upon payment

    I have then tried with 2 different credit card (including my business one!), Paypal account and still get the dreaded PBR9002 problem.

    Can someone explains what is the problem?

    It would seem that according to the link I'm posting below that the code you listed means your account has been blocked by Xbox due to either fraudulent activity detected or your tag is set for a different region (country) than you live in.

    If you have your tag set to a different country then change the region to the same one that you live in or contact phone support for your regions to get this resolved.

    My tag is set to my region and I haven't done anything ban-worthy. Is there a chance maybe changing my region and then changing it back might fix the problem? Or re-downloading my gamertag may work?

    Locking the account because of presumed fraudulent activity does not mean your banned. Just that you cannot purchase or add items at the moment. It could mean anything from a payment not going through properly to purchasing more than you usually do in
    a short period of time and they locked it for your protection.

    Just give phone support a call to have it checked out.

    Locking the account because of presumed fraudulent activity does not mean your banned. Just that you cannot purchase or add items at the moment. It could mean anything from a payment not going through properly to purchasing more than you usually do in
    a short period of time and they locked it for your protection.

    I cant find my .exe file.

    Games purchase from the Xbox store and from Game Pass are encrypted and stored in a secure location on your hard drive. The games cannot be modded.
