Hi, we have a XBOx one with gold membership. we have just imputed a £15 code to buy trials fusion on sale and it's saying you have exceeded the limit of how much you can spend in the xbox store today and he hasn't bought anything? Can you help

This has been a common problem for many people. One solution has been to update your payment info and then attempt to purchase the item again. This should fix your problem.

Simply go to your billing info and add it to your console.

My son has his own account on Xbox one with $85us on it he tried to buy a $60us game and said he exceeded the amount he can buy try again tomorrow, he didn't buy anything but took its advice and tried the next day and same unusual response. We didn't put
any credit card info on his account for good reason however he has money on the account so what could be the problem???

Having the same trouble - have a $25 gc, trying to dl content that is $15. We have no other purchases because we don't keep a cc on file. Haven't tried to purchase anything else, yet it says we have exceeded our spending limit and to try again tomorrow.
That was yesterday. Tried again this morning, yet same problem. Everything was bought in Canada. Have redeemed gift cards before with no trouble. GC shows in the account as being loaded and available. Please help.

 

Ok, if the system is saying that you've exceeded your purchase limit then that makes it a billing issue which must be dealt with through phone support. Please dial 1-800-469-9269 if you live in North America.

 

Thanks for the help onyx!! We have it figured out, all you have to do is add billing info to the account your trying to download games from. They don't require a credit card just email, address, phone number. Pretty simple fix.
