    Cannot Purchase From Xbox Store, Because Xbox Live Itself Is Down


    I have been trying to make a purchase on the Xbox Store for the past two days now. However, there seems to be severe issues/outages with Xbox Live itself, as I have not been able to make this purchase and on other occasions, not even been able to sign into
    my Xbox account at all.

    I had about £50 of Xbox Live Credit/Currency to spend before 24/12/2014 (after which it would expire), and was going to purchase 'WWE 2K15 Deluxe Edition' for my son as his Christmas gift, However, because of the issues with Xbox Live I wasn't able to do
    this. In the process, I also then lost the £50 of Xbox Live Credit/Currency that I had spent my (real) money paying for.

    I would like to kindly ask therefore, how it is fair for a loyal customer (I've been with Microsoft for nearly 10 years now, and just recently spent £500 purchasing an Xbox One), to be treated in this way? Xbox Live being down was not my fault or of my choosing,
    and yet I have had Xbox Live Credit/Currency expire because of an issue on Microsoft's end. As such, I would like to have my expired Xbox Live Credit/Currency reinstated immediately, as I would still like to use this money to purchase my son 'WWE 2K15 Deluxe
    Edition' for Christmas.

    After Oct 16th update my Xbox won't connect to Xbox Live

    Have the same issue.. Xbox updated itself now cannot connect to live even though the Xbox itself states live, the store etc. are all working.

    Why the hell are We (consumers) punished for when Xbox Live is non functional? We cannot play our digital games that are downloaded to our Xbox One consoles when Xbox Live is down. How do we get a refund for our purchase because if the licenses are already
    downloaded after purchase we should be able to play our content no matter if Live is down or not

    I contacted Microsoft/Xbox about this issue twice already now, and was told the first time that there was an issue with Xbox Live which was preventing me from making my purchase, and that I should wait a few hours for the problem to be fixed (it wasn't),
    and told the second time to make this feedback post and state my problem here (which I have now done).
