cannot purchase free xbox 360 games on xbox one with xbox live gold subscription

Hi all, I hope someone here will be able to help me out.

I have an Xbox Live Gold subscription on my Xbox one and can download the bi-monthly free xbox one games without problems.

However, I would like to also download some of the xbox 360 games but each time I try, I get presented with a screen asking me to enter a valid payment option.

When I click on the link, I get directed to the payment page information of the xbox live website; however, all field are empty and the country is locked to united states.

If I navigate and sign-in on xbox live by myself, all my information is there, including payment information

I hope it is clear enough, if you need more info, I'd be glad to provide them.

gold live trial - does not show on console

Today I obtained one month gold trial via web-site.

On microsoft account page in Services & Subscription I can see the Xbox Live subscription:

Xbox Live - subscription Xbox Live Gold - renews on 1/11/2016

But on my xbox one console, when I check account -> subscriptions -> I cannot see it - I just see "learn about Xbox live gold" and I can just purchase 1,6,12 months memberships.

I also cannot get current Gold games for free.

On console, I have only one account, and the console is set to home console, location is "Slovakia"

 

Can't purchase/dopwnload free xbox 360 games with gold game

I just recently purchased xbox live gold subscription this November using my CC and it works just fine. Actually I have an existing account that also have an xbox live gold subscription but because I can't download/complete the purchase of the free xbox
360 games that comes with the gold every month I've decided to create another account. I have a US account before with an Asian unit, it doesn't have any problem with the free xbox one games but if the free xbox 360 games is not region free I can't download
it so I switched my account to Asian. But still I can't download the free xbox 360 games that comes with it every month. So thats why I created a new account with an Asian Region and purchased an xbox live gold Asian. But the problem is still I can't download
the FREE xbox 360 game. I already put a credit card details (which works perfectly fine during my purchase of the xbox live gold subscription) and also put up my paypal account. Still it doesn't allow me to download/purchase the game. The error says. "Sorry,
you cannot complete the purchase right now. Please try again later." but its already been a week for this account. (almost 6 months for my primary account which already cost me 12 free games). I've tried to ask for a refund already but they said its not possible
cause of the sales and subscription agreement something.

I hope that this can be fixed. Or just FIX your ad, "Xbox live Gold Free Xbox One Only Games". Thanks...

 

Hi, I have exactly the same issue, only with 360 games. You cannot change the region when requested. Logging on to

commerce.microsoft.com/.../Profile it shows a "US - Personal account" profile which you cannot remove. I am guessing the only way to resolve this is to contact MS and have them correct the issue, which is what I am doing now.

Does anyone have a solution for this does not involve a lengthy support call?

 

You must use the region migration tool because you have a split region problem

Under my account and change my region on this website then enter your payment info

Keep in mind your account region must reflect your actual regional

It was not as simple as you described it to get to the regional settings but I got there and migrated whatever account was overseas and that works.
