Cannot purchase/download Game with Gold - Crysis 3

Hi everyone, I am a Xbox One owner and I have been downloading/purchasing Xbox 360 games in case they become backward compatible.

I had no issues in doing so until this month. When I try to get Crysis 3, it says:

I have chatted with Xbox support but they mentioned that it might be EA issue? Is some body else having the same error?

Cant download Crysis 3

am currently Xbox Live Gold Member in Singapore region. I am trying to download this months second free game with gold 'Crysis 3'. But following error message appears when I try to purchase it on a pc.

"This content is not available for consoles in your region."

This is an example why it needs t check compatibility

Crysis 3 - Games with Gold - Region Mismatch - Singapore

I have changed the region and got confirmation from Xbox support as well that my region is changed correctly. I am having the same issue with October's free game with gold . Another chat with Xbox support suggested that the it is the issue with EA (in case
of Crysis 3). Has anybody from asia was able to download Crysis 3 ?

There is a thread on Reddit about that in which Major Nelson commented:

You just have to play any Backward Compatible game on the One and it will sign you in Xbox 360 Live. This will trick Microsoft into thinking you own a X360 and the purchase of Crysis 3 will go through!

If you do not have a BC game, simply get Hexic, it is free:

HI,

You are showing as having purchased the game - no its shows like i have not made the purchase.

Are you not seeing any error code, just "Can't download" when you try to download Crysis? i cannot try to download because it shows that i have not made the purchase.

Crysis 3 Open Beta General FAQ says:

The Crysis 3 Beta will be live from January 29th through February 12th for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 and in English only.

The Open beta will be located for download and installation on the Xbox Demo section of Xbox Live. You will need an Xbox Live gold subscription in order to participate. Simply download and install as with any other game/demo.

Since you have a gold account, you should be able to access the beta. Could you please be more expansive about your problem? Do you get and error message? Can you just not find the link on the dashboard? What country (Xbox region) are you in? Have you
tried to download it from this link?
