    Cannot Purchase a Game from xbox.com


    Hi, I am trying to buy Torchlight for the Xbox One. When I go to pay using the xbox.com site (as you cant buy it from the xbox itself) it states that I dont have billing details and the details page is US only. I am in Australia and would like to purchase
    the game but its not working. Is this purchase limited to US only?

    Hi, you cannot purchase xbox 360 games from xbox.com or xbox one using a Xbox gift card. Your only option is to purchase the game using an Xbox 360 or use a credit card on xbox.com instead.

    Also be advised if you are trting to purchase the game from xbox.com you cannot use the currency in your account to complete the transaction. A credit card will be required

    I can’t seem to find anything saying it’s region locked so I’m not sure. Seems odd though.

    Hi, you have to get the add-ons either purchasing them from an actual xbox 360 or from the xbox 360 store on xbox.com. You cannot purchase them in game on the xbox one.

    You cannot use microsoft currency or an account balance to purchase backwards compatible games from an Xbox One or Xbox.com . If you wish to use the money on your account to purchase Portal: Still Alive, then you would need to log into an Xbox 360 and purchase
    the game from that console.
