Cannot play Xbox live on my profile.

Hi everyone.

I have an Xbox one 500gb, I just started playing black ops for the first time.

I have a 2 day Xbox live gold trial.

I signed into the website. Added the code and confirmed it. I went back to black ops game and when I click play online it says

"ERROR The current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox Live."

Why am I not allowed to play online on this profile? It's the same profile on my Xbox one account and the actual Xbox.

BC Connection problems

I cannot play my 360 games on xbox one because I cannot connect to the xbox live services while doing this so I can't download my profile to even play offline

 

DLC question

Are all the profiles on the same xbox?

If they are, it wont matter which profile you DL it under. If they are on different machines, you will need to use your kids machine to DL.

DLC is linked to both the machine and the gamertag. DLC can be played on all profiles on the machine that it was downloaded on without any issues.

You can also move the hard drive to another machine and play it on that however, you can only do that if you connect to live with the profile that downlaoded the DLC. You cannot play DLC by this method without being connected to live.

 

I got this figured out. I had to relaunch the game.

I'm able to play online now. Thanks.

 

i have an error message too

'the current profile is not allowed to play on xbox live'

I have tried relaunching the game and this does not work.

What do i do ?
