    Cannot Play the MCC through the Xbox PC App


    Hello,

    I currently and paying for the Xbox Game Pass service, and all of my other games are working except for the master chief collection.

    Whenever I click on "Play" it just closes the client and nothing happens.

    I assumed I could fix this problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the game. However, I can't even reinstall the game, I will hit "Install" and nothing will happen.

    I cannot seem to find anyone else online with the same issue.

    Does anyone know a fix?

    Why can't I get a refund on a game I or the receiver can't play?

    Halo MCC is NOT play anywhere, if you buy for xbox you can only use it on xbox, if you buy for pc via xbox app you can only use it via pc.

    It is cross save only.

    if thats the case then why does halo MCC (not a play anywhere title) let you load up the save from xbox on pc either through windows store and even steam.

    Well first did you buy it on the xbox for pxc app ? Then you don't own it

    Mcc is NOT A play anywhere title meaning owning the pc version does not entitle you to the xbox console version
