    Cannot play SHADOW the hedgehog


    Hi !

    I cannot play shadow the hedgehog from xbox (which is backward compatible) on my xbox360.

    I got an official microsoft's HDD and all the new updates. I'm connected to the internet but not on xboxlive.

    Any ideas ?

    Shadow the hedgehog

    I'm trying to play shadow the hedgehog on my Xbox 360 it's an original Xbox game yes but it says it's not supported I have 250 gb hard drive an im looking for the update for my Xbox 360 to play it I have the disk as well but it not letting me play they game
    any suggestions I should do ? I need help to fix this ...I looked at the list of games for the games for original Xbox that will play on 360 what should I do?

    Hey there JaceCool24,

    To clarify, this game is indeed a Backward Compatible title from the Original Xbox that should play on Xbox 360 provided you have the update. Is your console currently connected to Xbox Live and you're using an Official Xbox 360 Hard Drive? Unofficial Hard
    Drive or Flash Drives will not work for this, it needs to be an Official Hard Drive.

    Hi,

    have 100 % the same issue (only difference: for game Simpsons Hit & Run). When "starting" I get pop up saying

    "This original XBOX game is not supported on your XBOX 360 Console. An update is possibly available. ...." (translated from original german text).

    The subsequent update (after connecting to internet) did not change anything ...

    Do you get the same text ?
