Cannot Play Online

I just recently started playing Gears of War 3 again and it says I cannot play online. I get the message "Cannot Play Online: Your current gamer profile settings do not allow playing online games. To continue, all players must have settings that allow
online play" when I try to switch to public in party options. I have looked around different forums and the common answer I find is that I may have been banned. I cannot remember a single time where I have given myself a reason to be banned from playing
in a public match. Is there a way to check to see if I have been banned? If so, for what reason and is there a chance I can get the ban lifted? Thanks.

Cannot play online?

I too had this problem, starting a couple of weeks back, though I did find a solution from searching the Treyarch/Black Ops forum. Check the time on your 360, you'll likely find that it's fast. Log out, correct the time in Settings then log back in. I got
back onto multiplayer first time and it's been fixed since. Hope this helps. Still odd that this is effecting so many people all of a sudden.

 

Cannot play online?

About over a week ago I fired up Black Ops and couldn't get onto multiplayer. I get a message saying 'server is not available at this time'. This has happened since title update 8 and I have no idea why. I only used to play about 5 or 6 games a day. Any
ideas why this is happening?

 

Ok I tried it and I still can't get online. Well that was a waste of $10
