Cannot play online with friends

The problem that is occurring is that i cant play online with friends on any of my games. I tried playing ghosts with my friend last night but it immediately signed me out of xbox live. We were playing borderlands 1 earlier though on a private host and i
didn't get signed out of xbox live. My brother was also having the same issue. We all joined a lobby to play gears of war 3 when i suddenly get booted from the game and my brother a couple minutes later gets kicked of xbox live. It seems that my brother and
I can only play with friends on a private session. I don't know how I can fix this problem. Please leave any recommendations below. Thank you.

100% packet loss?

OK, this is now becoming extremely frustrating. My son cannot play online and cannot communicate with his friends over Xbox Live.

Have gold account but it won't let me play with friend

signed up with the gold account today, downloaded my profile got online signed in to play minecraft found my friend to play with but yet it told me I needed an Xbox gold account to play with my friend. I have a gold account actually charged me twice, yet
I still cannot play online with my friend. Any suggestions?

This sounds like it may be a DDoS/DoS Attack. These kinds of attacks are a federal crime in the US and your ISP (Internet Service Provider) will help enforce it, as long as it is such an attack. If you are hosting the private lobbies, do your friends lag?
When you host a private lobby in most games the other players are playing off your local Console so you would not notice the lag but they might. If this is happening like I said, you should shut down and unplug your router or cable modem for about 15 minutes,
hopefully giving you a new IP address so the attackers can not boot you again. If the problem persists, consider contacting your ISP about the issue and ask them for a new IP. They should guide you through the process which allows them to give you a new IP
address.

I don't think that is the problem. My brother and I can still play online games but only by ourselves and without any friends. I don't think im getting ddosed.

we tried but it doesn't work

I bought the formula 1 2021 version on xbox series s, but I cannot play with my friend which have xbox one s . I mean, we wanted to play co-op career, but while joining the session, it says that you must be signed in to xbox live.So basically we can do anything, and everything works fine if we don't do it together, but if we wanna play together, well, it's just not working.....
