    Yesterday my xbox was working perfectly fine, today when i got on i couldnt play online because my gold had 'ran out' yet i have a yearly gold subscription which was renewed on January 21st, so im confused as to why i cant play online or talk to people via parties

    I am also having same issue. Cannot play online multiplayer. You are not connected to xbox live... Even though I have a gold account.

    Gold is required to play online. You cannot play online with a silver account. The only time the account will appear silver and still play online is if you're using a trial account, there's a free gold weekend, or you're sharing a gold subscription with
    someone on the Xbox One.

    i just bought a new xbox series x today for the sole purpose that i heard the old cod games servers where back working but i had to make a new account and it won’t let me play mw2 online

    To play online multiplayer you need an Xbox Live Gold subscription. If you don't have that, then you cannot play online.
