Cannot play downloaded game anymore (0x82d40004)

Hi guys,

I've been playing Madden 20 regularly since its release and never had a problem launching it. However, for the past few weeks I couldn't run it or launch it anymore, as I always receive the abovementioned error code. The weird thing a out it is that I pnly
got the downloaded/digital version, which means that it doesn't even run from a disc in the first place...

Other games, all on discs, seem to run perfectly fine.

I would really appreciate your help, especially if the same problem has already ocurred to one of you too.

Hello Dave,

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. We understand that Madden 20 is having a problem launching. Are there any troubleshooting steps that you have already attempted? For starters, we would recommend
uninstalling the game and then installing it again. Try that out and then let us know the results.

Also, don't forget, you cannot play the game anymore, so even if you keep it, it's useless to even download it. Doritos Crash Course 2 can only be played online, there is no offline anything.

The error code is (0x82d40004) and the disc has no scratches at all i was on the game last night

the server of the game are down from 1 year. so you cannot play anymore.

The error just means that it can't find the licence for the game. So in this case the disk drive did not read the disc, so couldn't find the licence. Try reinserting the disc, then wait about 30 seconds, and try starting the game again.
