Cannot play brand new game I bought today called Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor!

Help! I am trying to play this game. I just bought it and when I put it in my xbone, it automatically prompts me that the game needs to update. I click to update it but then I get this error
(https://i.imgur.com/k90r120.jpg). I click on "check network settings" and do the usual setup for wireless connection. All checks out that I do have internet and I try it again. Same error
over and over. I know that my internet connection works good because I can download free games from live with no problems. I even tried it hardwired with the ethernet cable just in case my connection was bad. No dice. I tried the game in my brothers xbone
and it works with no problems. It will not work on my xbox for some reason. I have tried diagnosing it with xbox live representative and did the usual hard reboot, unplugging, and turning back on. I have tried deleting my profile and re-inputting it all back
on. I ran out of ideas and I don't really want to reset my whole xbox and lose all my save data for my other games. This is such a pain in the butt. Does anyone have any other suggestions as to why my xbox is the only one doing this? I have installed the full
game on the console as well.

Could you try playing it whilst offline, get through to the main menus, then quit and power cycle completely (hold power button for five seconds, unplug from wall) and connect to the Internet and try again.

To note: as long as you are connected to the Internet when you play games, a factory reset will not lose you your game saves. They are all backed up to the cloud and will download again the first time you play each game, whilst connected to Live. However,
it is very much a last resort.
