    Cannot play Assassins creed IV on my XBOX ONE Profile


    I happily played it for a couple of weeks but one time it randomly went to a black screen on startup (though i could still here the music) after a few minutes i shut the console down. However now whenever i try to play it it takes me back to the dashboard
    after the part where it says press A. I've tried reinstalling and the console hardshut down etc. to no avail. But what's really weird is that i created a second xbox live profile on my xbox one and tis runs the game just fine. So i know it's not the disc or
    the console that is broken, just for some reason my account. This is a problem because i am very far into the game and have also purchased the season pass. Anyone know how to fix this? It's on disc for xbox one.

    Cannot play Assassins creed IV on my XBOX ONE Profile

    I know you said you tried a hard shut down. Try holding the start(menu) while holding the power.. After it shuts down unplug the console for 30 seconds, this will clear your cache. Then reboot and see if it helps.

    yeah this is DRAM cache problem ... use ROD fix and it should work

    but when you do the manipulation make sure you are on dashboard mainmenu !

    Indeed, I know that it's regarding Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, when you buy Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag - Season Pass on Xbox One version it will not work on Xbox 360 because there is a version for Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag on Xbox 360 console and Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag for Xbox One. Those two are different.

    yeah this is DRAM cache problem ... use ROD fix and it should work

    but when you do the manipulation make sure you are on dashboard mainmenu !
