    Cannot play Age of Empires IV


    Hi. I ve recently purchased from a store the Age of Empires IV and yesterday I used the key and downloaded the software on my computer, but was never able to play it due to the following error:

    Age of Empires IV is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Store and try again. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001

    Help me please

    When you redeemed the game activation key, it should have been associated to your Microsoft account and should be showing on your purchase history (as redeemed code):

    https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

    If the game is showing there, please follow the steps below:

    - Go to start > Type PowerShell > Right click it and select “Run as administrator” > Type the following command:

    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    - Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Microsoft Store > Advanced Options > Repair, then Reset.

    - Press Windows + R. Type TEMP and press enter. Delete all the files inside this folder. Repeat this step by typing %TEMP% and Prefetch. Delete everything on both folders too.

    - Press Windows + R. Type WSRESET and press enter.

    - If you're using a proxy, please stop using it for now:

    - Press Windows Key + R. Type inetcpl.cpl and press Enter. Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings. Uncheck the Use a proxy server for your LAN check box. Click Ok.

    - Please check if Date and Time is set correct. Uncheck "Set the time automatically", do it manually.

    - Restart Windows.

    - Sign in on the Microsoft Store > Click on your profile > App settings > Enable the Offline permissions option.

    Try to install the game again and let me know how it goes, please.

    Hi,

    Since Age of Empires Online uses your Xbox LIVE Gamertag you cannot be signed into multiple places at once. If you want to play Age of Empires Online on your PC you will automatically be signed out on the Xbox 360.

    Your gamertag cannot be actively used in multiple places at once in regards to playing games.

    Only those enrolled in the open beta had access to the game from September 17th, at 1 p.m ET through Monday, September 20th, at 1 p.m. ET. However, The game will officially launch on October 28 with Xbox Game Pass.
