Cannot play 18 rated games

I have just upgraded to a new x box elite I have signed onto my x box live account I have recovered by gametag I have downloaded my licences but when I try to play a 18 rated game which ran with no problem on my old x box it is asking me for parental pass
code which I have not installed . Why is it doing this I cannot play 18 rated games. How do I fix the problem. I am an adult and have never had the problem before

Suspended for swearing on an 18 rated game? Are you joking Microsoft?

If a game is rated 18 that means the single player part has 18 rated content & it is illegal for anyone under 18 to buy the game,not play it.

Xbox live is not rated,no matter what game you play & as mentioned already,you must abide by the CoC/ToU when on Xbox live.

Well as far as GT, it is a Rater M game. Assuming your son's true B-day was entered on the trial, he cannot play rated M games online until the age of 18.

Hello, if you set the DOB on the account to be at least 18, you will need to go to Settings, Account, Promote Account. If the account is still a child account, you will need a passcode, if you have forgot the passcode, enter the passcode in wrong once
and then select "Reset Passcode"

Did you buy the Console used? It may have had family settings on there

If it is used please call support to reset the family settings pass code this resets the console to factory default

Well two things

first ea requires people to be over 18 to play any m rated ea game

ms is obiligated to follow.international laws and so are you

as per international laws on advertising betas and m rated demos are ads and cannot be shown to minors
